[Blogtober]
I repotted a lucky bamboo plant.
Previously because it had looked slightly yellowish, I did some research and was advised to put it in water (left overnight). I did so for a week and a half-but somehow instinctively I realised it wasn't a good long term solution.
A week and a half ago, when I moved the plant from soil into water, I felt rather sorry for the poor lucky bamboo plant-it didn't seem to have much luck itself that day, because the roots were so tangled
everywhere that quite a lot was pulled apart, making me wince. It felt like.. pulling my own hair from my scalp. Anyway, back to the point.

So here I am, putting the plant back into soil.

Hope this bamboo survives through the year! I'm gonna get my own room sometime soon, so
if when the time comes, it'll be sitting in my room, near the window! I hope so.
You see this plant wasn't actually mine.
What I meant was, it belonged to my brother, who had won it at a Chinese New Year celebration event for some activity. But he isn't the kind to water it and take care of it and pluck the yellowed-browned leaves, so I took it upon myself to do that. And I became rather fond of it (isn't it cute though). So hopefully I get to keep it.
Hi there, Zelus!
ReplyDeleteI love the way that you've chosen to keep most of you posts quite concise; they're short and sweet. The fact that you've used before and after photos is very effective.
Keep it up!
