Halloween Tag [Blogtober]

It's 21 October and I'm finally following the prompt I planned for myself- Noor's Halloween Tag. Actually it was for the 20th, but because of the time difference, I only read her post the following day and so I'm posting it now.

1- What year did you first go trick-or-treating?
My culture doesn't celebrate Halloween nor does most of the people in my country... only when my friends from elsewhere invite us for their Halloween Party when I was about 8 or 9 I think did I first
go trick-or-treating. The party was really cool to me, though. There were 'goblin juice' and 'rat meat' and all that cool food. I haven't been treat-or-tricking [you see what I mean?] for a couple of years now though.  I don't really carve pumpkins either. I did it once at a friend's house, it got really messy but we managed to do it properly. 

2- Favorite kind of candy?
I like every and any kind of candy. Snickers are great, so are Mars Bars. There's this special halloween kind that is like a lollypop on a small plastic limb (like an arm or a leg) that's really cool too. I accept any kind of candy you give out.

3- What are you going to be this year?
I have many options but I think I'll go as a glow-in-the-dark stick figure. Probably because I don't want to put on make up [no idea how] and I want it to be simple.

4- Favorite costume you've had?
Erm... the ghoul one? To be honest I didn't put too much preparation into my costumes because they were usually last-minute, but I did spend the whole afternoon glueing and cutting and whatnot-ing.

5 - Favorite spooky creature?
Ghosts and ghouls are a classic.

6 - How hyped do you get for Halloween?
Considering neither my family, culture, neighbourhood don't really get hyped up, I think I'm okay. Meaning, I'll be happy if I go trick-or-treating with my friends, but if they don't go, I'm fine with not going, I guess.

7 - Halloween Pinteresty thing that you've always wanted to try?
Erm... decorate my house Harry Potter style, with the Voldemort and Nearly-Headless Nick and all. Making halloween themed food would also be something I really wanted to do. And all that cool costumes.

8- Favoruite part of Halloween?
Walking around the neighbourhood with my friends trick-or-treating, even though we might be too old for it, seeing others get so hyped up about halloween, admiring the decorated haunted houses and the costumes of kids that walk past. The candy is a bonus.

9 - Orange or black?
Black because black is halloween. Black is mysterious. Black is cool. Black is the classic black. Black is Serius.
