The Infinity Dreams Award

I was nominated by Eve at Edge of Night, which I am grateful for. I always love being tagged or nominated and am always grateful and appreciate you guys for that, because it makes me feel really happy. So thank you Eve!

Ironically (or not) it is night time here. Or early morning right now, 12:00:25 am.

Let's get to the point-in this case, this fantabulous award.

Rules
  • Use the Infinity Dreams Award picture (I used the one from Eve's blog, but you can find the original image here)
  • Thank the blogger who tagged you
  • Tell us 11 facts about yourself
  • Answer the 11 questions
  • Tag 11 bloggers
Facts
1.  Cards and letters are much more genuine compared to texts and I cherish them a lot.
2. I like to put photos of my friends and I -at least those with better quality- on my desktop wallpaper.

3. I have two Nerfs, one jolt and one retaliator. Both were birthday presents from my brothers (two brothers, two birthdays).

4. I find singing a song to a person about that person is downright cheesy and should be avoided.

5. I really want to learn cello.

6. But because buying a camera is higher on my list, I'm putting cello aside and starting to compare prices at different camera shops.

7. I'm a Capricorn

8. The numbers 8, 18, 88, anything containing the digit 8 appeals to me, not just because it symbolises prosperity in Chinese culture, but because of it's shape- it's the infinity sign- standing up.

9. I wish people would talk to me more. It gets lonely here.

10. A lot of people say I'm the quieter than those quiet people, but I don't really see why because I think of myself as the noisy introvert?

11. I believe in 11:11 wishes, not in the way that it will come true, but it just makes life more interesting. It's just an opportunity to remind yourself what you want, and by doing that you are giving hope to yourself. Does that make sense?

Answers
1. Cloudy skies or sunny days?
Can I say both? Sorry. Sunny days, because it's much easier to take better photos under the rays. But then it gets really hot.

2. Favourite flavour of coffee and/or tea?
(Sorry [-not-sorry] Eve, I know you put 'Favorite' and 'flavor' but my fingers were itching so I added a 'u' :))
Well... I'm not a Starbucks person (I think they're horribly overpriced but that's my personal opinion), but I do enjoy a cup of coffee now and then. But I make it myself- a packet of instant mix (cause that's what I have at home) and some milo (chocolate malt) powder. For tea I like milk tea. Does it count? Milk tea, either those bubble tea kind, or the coffee shop kind which is called teh here.

3. You're writing a book. What is the name of your main character?
Well... I can't really answer right now because my main character's name depends on the plot because I want it to have meaning behind it, you know?

4. Do you like photography? What do you like to take pictures of?
I love photography. I love taking pictures of the scenery, fleeting moments that you can never come across ever again. Of children, of people.

5. Do you rely more on facts and logic or your intuition?
Intuition.

6. What was the last book or movie that you read/watched?
A book called CHERUB: Divine Madness by Robert Muchamore.

7. Do you prefer to text or call?
Text because it's harder to get my thoughts out in spoken words.

8. If you could add an extra hour to your day or night, which would you choose?
Of course night. But it actually doesn't matter where you add, because if you add one hour to the night, the morning will be pushed back by one hour.

9. Next book on your to-be-read list?
Darn, there's a lot. But there's no particular one that is screaming to be placed first on my to-be-read list. I guess it just depends on which one is available at the library the next time I go there.

Oh wait, I thought of one: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by J. K. Rowling, to be read before the movie is released. That is, if I can get a copy at the library. Or the Hunger Games series.

10. What is one line in a song that you love?
Eve, why do you ask such hard questions! (I love these questions when I'm the one asking, so I'm guilty too xD) Songs and books are something that I love and it's hard to pick a specific song/book or specific line that is my favourite...

11. What is something that makes you smile?
I like to think that I'm a simple person that comes to happiness or something that makes me smile. You can check out Reasons to Smile for some examples. Generally it can be anything like seeing other people, especially small kids, do some funny things that little kids do without knowing that it's funny. Or seeing a cute animal, especially a cute puppy or dog.

(Update on Feb 20-I just got on the computer and realised in my horror, I forgot to answer #10 and #11, so I'm doing it now!)

2. What's the best compliment you've ever received?
3.  What do you feel you lack?

5.  Have you taken your Myers-Briggs personality test? If so, what are you? If not, go and read about the 16 personalities (briefly) and what do you think you are (based on just reading the 16 personalities)

  1. Pffft, British spelling! lol.

Completely agree that cards and letters are something special. I lovvve getting mail. I don't care if you are my nextdoor neighbor; texts are great and all, but nothing beats a handwritten note.

I also love that fact #8 is about numbers with "8" in them. I do like how 8 is the infinity sign. I've always loved the number 7 for some reason. I have no idea why, but it's just always been my favorite. Fact #11 definitely makes sense, and I think that's a great way to look at it.

Starbucks really is a bit pricey.. But at least they have (in my opinion, at least) very tasty products. I don't go there often, but I'm thinking about maybe applying for a job at one. I've heard Starbucks is a great company to work for, and they pay for your college tuition! Plus I like the atmosphere of such places and any kind of retail job would really help in improving my social skills.

    Question 7: YES. Just yes.

Thanks so much for participating in this tag, Zelus. :) Great answers, facts, and great questions for your nominees as well!
