I never thought blogging would... [Blogtober]

I started blogging when I was six eight, actually. I just checked my first blog, and the first post was 26/08/2006. Such a long time ago. Good for me and pity for you, the blog is not public.

Anyway, blogging didn't always play a big part in my life like it does now. I'd post something when I was bored or remembered that I had a blog.

This one was created in 4 March 2014.
Until October, I didn't really blog frequently, only doing so when I had something to write about. You can refer to the screenshot of my archives on the right to see what I mean.

First of all, I never thought blogging would change my perspective of life. Thinking and putting the thoughts down in words make me think deeper, like how, why, what etc. Reading other people's post sometimes also allow me to think more of the subject.

I never thought blogging would be so enjoyable.

I never thought blogging would make me so happy. Receiving comments and gaining followers just make my day.

I never thought blogging would allow me to make so many new friends, even though it was just 'online' friends. The blogging friends I have are really nice and wonderful, and they all give positive, encouraging comments which is mainly why I continue to blog, even though it takes up time. People like EveMVivianYasmine,  AshR. L.Vanessa... they're awesome and I wouldn't be here today without them.

I never thought blogging could allow people I personally know to better understand my thoughts.

I never thought blogging would improve my English. 'Practice makes perfect', so even blogging counts as 'essay-writing' in homeschooling terms.

I never thought blogging would allow me to express my feelings. This is probably a typical one-no matter what past time you engage in, whether it's music, sports, art, writing... all of them allow you to express your feelings.

I never thought blogging would take up so much of my time. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, it's not. Trust me. Now, no matter where I am, what I am doing, when I hear or see something interesting, or thought-provoking, I'd think 'I'd have to blog about this someday'.  True, constantly improving my blog template, typing the posts, reading the comments and replying to them takes time, but it's something I gladly do.

There's the post for today! (Yesterday, I greatly apologize as I was out the entirety of the whole day and like any other (most) blogger, I don't write my posts in advance so I do it after.)

    1. :) I'm surprised that you're surprised, since you comment regularly recently. I really enjoy reading your posts, though, and I'm looking forward to future poems and stuff on your blog!
